In the past three years, the world, the environment and life have changed. We are both witnesses and witnesses of history. We feel a sense of responsibility, a strong urge and desire to reflect the changes taking place today.
The name "changes" also goes through many changes because of the epidemic: the virus itself is changing, the country, the society and the individual are changing. As far as Guangzhou is concerned, it was lockdown for a period of time and then suddenly unsealed, and thepolicy had changed completely. What experience do we have in this process of changes? The sudden changes have changed the pattern of the past, how do we re-determine our own direction? What is our individual presence in this process?

The pandemic that has swept the world over the past three years has changed everyone's lives. As the epidemic has subsided, people have stopped talking about it. People startnew lives in haste as if nothinghappened.
Over the course of the pandemic, individuals across societies became both observers and participants in a shared historical moment.Despite this, acts of selective perception and constrained expression became commonplace:Eyes remained open, yet realities went unacknowledged; mouths moved, yet speech was silenced.This exhibition resists the erasure of that experience.It seeks to challenge the normalization of forgetting, and to confront the absurdity of collective silence in the face of lived history.
